Abstract:
To explore the correlation between malignant tumors and secondary
osteoporosis, and to make recommendations on the prevention and treatment of
osteoporosis and its complications. A review of the literature on malignant
tumors with secondary osteoporosis published in the past was reviewed, focusing
on several aspects related to clinically common malignant tumors and secondary
osteoporosis. These documents describe the relationship between secondary
osteoporosis and malignant tumors, and many specific possible related
mechanisms. At present, there are three main known relationships between
malignant tumors and secondary osteoporosis. A widely recognized relationship
is osteoporosis caused by advanced bone metastasis of malignant tumors, and the
relationship between malignant tumors and secondary osteoporosis. The
correlation shows some new research progress, not only limited to the state
after bone metastasis, but more attention is focused on iatrogenic or malignant
tumors themselves . There are many causes of secondary osteoporosis caused by
malignant tumors. Understanding its bone density and potential fracture risk
may be the main points of early cancer screening, as well as raising awareness
of the risk of secondary osteoporosis induced by malignant tumors. It is
necessary to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment and prolong survival.
